Ufone Business SMS is a one-way SMS, quick, friendly Graphical User Interface and Bilingual SMS service that you can access worldwide via Internet. It is specially designed to provide web-based SMS services to Enterprises/Companies/Corporate/Educational Institutions and Multinational organizations who have to contact their direct Employees/Students/Customers for different information update, e.g. making regular contact with their staff/students‚ sends regular updates on project management‚ meeting/exam notification, corporate/lecture announcements‚ business updates, new product promotion, to their customers' mobile phones or even alerts to employees at offices or in remote locations where corporate emails are not accessible.
Your Customer ID (MSISDN) is a 11 numeric digits Auto-system generated ID that will be conveyed to you on New Account subscription as Welcome email. Kindly use this ID in all of your future correspondence with Ufone Support email/fax or call.
A strong password is one that's difficult for others to determine by guessing or by using automated programs. A strong password is an important first step in protecting your Business SMS account information. A strong password:
- Contains seven to sixteen characters.
- Uses the following two types of characters:
- Uppercase letters (A, B, C) and Lowercase letters (a, b, c).
- Numerical (1, 2, 3).
Your password should NOT contain:
- Spaces or non-English (e.g. Urdu) characters.
- Complete or a portion of your Company login ID
- Special characters (`~! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] \ : " ; ' < > ? , . /) .
- Company Name, personal name, or a close variation on a common word or name.
Notess
- Passwords are NOT case sensitive .
- To help secure your personal information, don't write down your password, or share it with anyone else.
- Ufone will never ask you for your password in either e-mail message or online Help Call. Be cautious of unsolicited e-mail messages that appear to be from bsms@ufonegsm.net and provide a link for you to sign in to your account or Ufone Customer Support asking you to spell out your password, someone may impersonate as Ufone associate to get your password.
- If you have user accounts (either single or multiple), use a different password for each user account.

Upon receiving your password theft/forgot information, we will reset your existing password and will send updated password to your email account that you have given on subscription. Check that the Business SMS isn't temporarily out of service due to scheduled maintenance/upgrade. Check that the website or Business SMS service URL that you want to sign in is correct. Lastly your account features may have been restricted either due to ACCOUNT INACTIVE due to non-payment of dues or your company’s request in case of password/account hacked.

Business SMS allows you to send 160 Characters (including spaces) for English and 70 Characters (including spaces) for Urdu Language, every SMS will be charged as per number of recipients and your package subscribed. However kindly note successful delivery of multiple SMS (higher than the above limit) or Urdu Language SMS depends on the recipient handset support.

Business SMS allows you to send SMS with a specific Sender ID (the recipient will see Sender ID instead of any specific mobile number); all SMS Packages have a free default SMS Masking as B-SMS. Depending on your Package Subscribed you can request via email to Ufone Support team for free SMS masking (Sender ID). The SMS Masking can have maximum 10 characters, no space/special characters allowed & Numeric characters only can be used after to Alphabets.
Business SMS online application allows you to upload your own company logo that will create an affiliation for all of your user accounts. After signing in as your Corporate Admin account ID please click on the “Upload Logo” under the Admin Panel category on the left-hand pane (logo must be only in jpeg or gif with max dimension of 250x100 dpi.
User Management allows you to create new sub-user accounts using restricted rights (as you may assign and later can easily update) who will use company’s main account to send SMS. This feature allows you to create department-wise (or any other ID) login ID (e.g. Marketing Department can have a User Login as “Marketing” and Finance Department can have a User Login as “Finance”), every User has to be assigned a Role as per different Rights (for better User control and management) so that other departments can also use Ufone Business SMS application on their own. Each user can create its own unlimited recipient contact(s) and Groups(s) as per his associated community. The User Management Category is further divided into 5 subcategories as:-
Add Role (Create Roles and Assign Rights to every role, for ease of operation please create Role before creating Users)
View Roles (View the created Roles, you can also update any existing role by changing Rights)
Add User (Create User ID by giving desired ID, Name, Password and associated Role)
View Users (View the created Users, you can change the assigned role or password and even can remove the created user)
Change Password (You can change your main corporate and sub-user account password for Business SMS under the User Management Option; it is advisable that you change your password at least once every month)

As its name defines, Phone Book has all of your SMS Recipients that may exist as Contact(s) or a Group(s) of Contact(s). Phone Book has Four Subcategories as:-
- Add Contact Contact(s) can be added in two ways either typing in online contact(s) (5 rows available as default however you may extend it by clicking the link “Click Here to add more rows” link) or by uploading the CSV (Comma Separated Values) file that can be exported from popular email POP clients (e.g. Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express etc.) Please make sure your CSV file must have exact format as given online.
- View Contacts Already created Contact(s) can be viewed, deleted, edited and associated to any Group(s). The default view is for 5 Contact(s) per page however you can extend it up to 100 rows/contact(s) if your Phonebook is large enough. Any Group(s) created already will be visible here by clicking the dropdown menu and associated Contact(s) as Group members will be visible. You can also easily move to next/previous page or first/last page of Contacts.
- Add Group You can create any Group(s) here by giving its name, as soon as the Group is created the Option: Add contacts and assign them to this group will allow you to create and associate Group Member(s).
- View Groups You can view the Group(s) created here and can Edit or Delete any Group(s). Similarly you can view Members in any specific Group(s) and can remove them from that Group(s). The View Groups option also shows which user has created the Group(s).

Add Message Template allows you to define SMS Message Templates (either in English or Urdu) that you can apply to Instant SMS or Schedule SMS Broadcast option. The template can be as multi SMS as per the character/message counter window given online. The SMS Text writing Template window allows to select the Language as “English” or “Urdu” kindly note that for selecting English language you can send maximum 160 characters (including spaces) to the recipients however for selecting the Urdu Language the maximum characters (including spaces) is reduced to 70 characters only. The online Urdu Keyboard helps you in writing Urdu SMS Massages very easily even using any Standard English keyboard. You can also copy (CTRL+C) and Paste (CTRL+V) any English or Urdu Text from any other document/file/website to Instant SMS writing window.

(Kindly note that your registered email ID is very important as in case of loss of Password or upon receiving your written request for Password Change (after some verification), Business SMS application will send new password to your registered email account). The Account Information Page also gives your current Account Balance and total number of On-Net/Off-Net SMS and charges applied. As soon as the SMS is being forwarded to Ufone’s SMSC you will be able to see the charges deducted from your balance here. You can also see your Current Subscribed Package with Start and End dates of your Package along with the On-Net/Off-Net SMS Charges being applicable.

No, at present the Business SMS Application is not crafted to receive any SMS or to send an International SMS.

Although we would not recommend you to close your Business SMS account, however upon receiving your written request for closure of Business SMS account (after verification and clearance of dues etc.) we will put your account as INACTIVE whereby you will not be able to send any SMS, however you will still be able to see your previous account details or broadcast log (however we cannot confirm availability of all data at all times). If you would like to re-activate your account please give a written request to Ufone Support team which (after all prerequisites) will make your Business SMS account ACTIVE once again.
